Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I take part in the SETI@home project since I feel guilty about leaving my computer idle - think of all of those wasted CPU cycles. I think it's a great project - I've only been on it for a short while but it is certainly interesting reading about how the software works. I certainly believe that there is life somewhere out there, and it'd be cool to establish communication with them. I honestly have no idea when it'll happen though, maybe tomorrow, maybe not for thousands of years. But it'll happen. Some day. |
