Personal background
I am a 3.5 year old female tricolor Australian Shepherd. I spend a lot of time in my human's home office while he works or plays, so I have gotten to learn a lot about computers and software. Since I am a sheep-herding dog, I am naturally concerned with maximizing productive effort and staying active, but organized. My human’s computers used to burn a lot of wasted CPU cycles every day until I decided to install Seti@home. I also like to see the funny shapes moving on the monitor when the screen saver is on. Sometimes it makes me want to bark!

Admittedly, it can sometimes be difficult for me to use the mouse and keyboard, so I have to ask for help, but it all seems worth it to me.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I first started looking up at the moon and stars as a puppy. I have often wondered what it all means and how I fit in. Maybe knowing more about the rest of the universe will help me understand more about my own life.

Is there dog life on other planets? Probably. It is hard to imagine other worlds without dogs to help with chores and provide companionship.

If I could communicate with these other-world dogs I would tell them that they are not alone, that there are millions of non-canines working to bring us together, and that the food is great on this world.
