Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Life outside earth could exist. There are plenty of findings that support this, however not fully proven. I think we'll discover it when the aliens want us to discover them (think major X-files syndromes). Well, cool technology, more wars... Eh, life on a much grander scale. Not too different from earth, except galactical and MUCH cooler.

Sure, as much as we are trying to find them, theories state that they also may be looking for us. It quickens the "searching" process. I like the basic "hellos" and whatnot, math is the universal language, gotta send in that.

I run SETI@Home because Greg Dean said it was cool. Seriously, I like aliens, I like SETI, and I like Real Life Comics. It was a package deal I couldn't refuse. It's like hunting for a needle in a haystack the size of the Greater Mongolian Desert, but hey, I'm willing to part with minor processor power to be able to say that I helped search.
