Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
With regard to opinions about SETI and SETI@home and related topics:

~As an anthropologist the astronomically remote possibility of a developed non-human culture is utterly intriguing

Why do I run SETI@home?

A definitive sign of non-terrestrial intelligent life would certainly go a long way to shaking up the status quo and perhaps starting more positive measures that would benefit the entire species.
