My vocation is as a consultant for Primary Health Care Systems Management. I specialize in health care systems for rural areas of developing countries in Africa (and Haiti). I lived and worked for twenty years in the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire) where I helped the Ministry of Health to decentralize and co-manage the national health system in collaboration with church health services.
My avocation is promoting creative thinking via the Internet. I am Webmaster for a cluster of a websites at bemorecreative.com to encourage creative thinking, working and living. For example, at CreativeQuotations.com you can search 30,000 quotations and find quotations from famous people born on your birthday. Each set of quotations is carefully selected and linked to five components of creativity – Foraging, Reflecting, Adopting, Nurturing and Knuckling Down (that spells FRANK!). As William Plomer once said, Creativity is the power to connect the seemingly unconnected.
