| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I hope, that one day, people get in contact with an alien race, but not in these days. Today it's impossible, because some or many would think, that an alien race is dangerous and that can cause a war. Perhaps in the future people will be ready for that adventure.
To send something like a beacon into space could be a good idea, but it's too slow. How much time would it need to reach the next solar system?
I think SETI is great project, to bring people together, to let people all over the world do something together. |
