1. Why do you run SETI@home?
because we can, so we do - the data's there to be crunched, so we crunch
2. What are your views about the project?
we like the whole concept of the BOINC project and in particular SETI - we continue to hope that more people will join up as well as more projects becoming available - wouldn't it be great if all operating systems came with BOINC as standard - after all, the power of most PC's these days is so great, running BOINC will barely cause a dent in most peoples day to day use
3. Any suggestions?
would like it if more data was available from a wider range of collectors (rather than just from Arecibo!) - there's got to be more radio telescopes pointing at the sky 'listening' - and it would be nice if each project provided more background info to the data they get from the crunchers - we rarely see any 'results' from any of the data we provide
