There's life out there somewhere...
Q1 - Will we ever talk to it?
Unless we figure out a way of showing that Einstein was wrong and FTL travel is possible, then we've got more chance of all winning the lottery next Friday! And every Friday after that come to think of it.
Q2 - Will we ever get to over hear a conversation?
Well, there wouldn't be much point in doing this if not. Just hope I get to find the "proper" WOW signal to prove that this planet, life, existence et al is not just a quantum fluke :-)
