Profile: Kevin Fitzsimmons

Personal background
I'm standing in front of the 100 meter Robert C. Byrd Green Bank Telescope at Green Bank, West Virginia, during the Spring of 2003. It is the world's largest fully steerable single aperture antenna. (http://www.gb.nrao.edu/gbt/) A 26 meter radio telescope used in the first SETI experiment, Project Ozma, is also located here. (http://www.gb.nrao.edu/t85-3/)
