Hi! I'm a 27 year old Parole Officer from North Pole, Alaska. My hobbies are photography, astronomy, camping, and hiking.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.) Extraterrestrial life exists, absolutely. Dr. Sagan's probability of life equation says it all. Humans will discover it when they accept the illusion of "self" and "human". The danger lies only in the resulting actions of those who will fear the destruction of their own dogmatic principles by the discovery.
2.) I believe the motive of the transmission should always be in question. The message should be nothing more than a symbol of our mathmatic intelligence.
3.) I run SETI@home for no other reason than to take part in connecting with 3 million of my fellow earth-mates.
