For the last several years (and I really mean several!)I've been very interested in computers. I've studied programming and plunged myself into desktop publishing, web design and graphics. Somewhere in the last 30 years or so, I managed to get a degree in biology while being the single mom of four kids. Much later, I finally attained a new status of a real computer owner after previously having no more than a Timex Sinclair to use at home.
Now, I'm alive and well in Atlanta, GA doing web design and graphics for a few clients after having left a position with a small software development company.
In addition to being a computer geekette, I enjoy playing and listening to music of many types. I've also attempted to take my love for quilting and other types of crafts into the digital age by creating a "digital" quilt making tool for people to play with. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Extraterrestrial life?? well.....something is out there and I want to know what it is....or who it is.
My intense desire and scientific nature makes me want to investigate the possibility that there could be life of some sort out there. There is a reason for those spikes and I want to know what that is.
But extraterrestrial? We might be the ones considered extraterrestrial!!
