I am from SW Michigan, USA. I am semi-retired and work
part-time as a veterinary assistant. I live with a wonderful partner, Steve, (who is also an avid "SETI" follower)and several spoiled cats. I've been a sky watcher all my life and have even seen a UFO once, with other witnesses.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I've been interested in ETI all my life (nearly all 50 years of it) and the movie "Contact" touched me in a way I'll never forget. When the opportunity presented itself to actually TAKE PART in the search for ETI, via SETI@home it was a dream come true! I absolutely believe that we are not alone in this universe - and I believe SETI@home is going to be our first "contact" with ETI. My hat is off to all of you at SETI@home, and to Anne Druyan, the late Carl Sagan, Louis Friedman, Arthur C. Clarke, and so many others who have the vision to imagine the possibilities. Thanks for letting me be a small part of it through SETI@home. |
