Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do I run SETI@home?
To give my overclocked beast (computer) something to do in it's spare time (overclocked to 13.27GHz)
I believe that if there is intelligent life out in the universe somewhere, I'd like to say I was there helping in the search for it.
What are my views about the project?
I feel that it is a worthwhile effort to find out what's out there in the vastness of space.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
