I am a highschool student that was turned to this program by a boyfriend's mom. I didn't believe in it and then I went to the site and dowloaded it and now here I am. It is pretty neat. I'm from Wisconsin of the United States, and I am a highschool student. Thanks!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.) I think that there might be but then again I don't know. If there is humans probably won't discover it til later LATER on in the future.
2.) That we don't want to harm them or whatever we just want to know if there is life beyond ours out there. I don't know.
3.) I think that it is a neat program since I am not a big fan of ohter life forms out in the universe and I don't believe in it that much but yeah it is kinda interesting and I like to learn new stuff every once in a while.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
