Hi! My name is Misty Oakley. I am 39. I joined SETI because I thought it was the coolest thing I'd seen on the web ...up to that point in time...!!! Now I believe that it is the second coolest thing to the World Community Grid's Cancer Research or other medical research. It brings together all kinds of people all over the world in a united effort! How awesome is that?!?!?!

I loved the book The Da Vinci Code. I enjoy puzzles -especially logic puzzles and love to play board games.
I like to garden.

I love SETI@home because it gives me a chance to participate in something greater than myself, and being a dreamer, it gives me a chance to dream on. I believe that one day, SETI@home will find something.
I must say that I APPLAUD BOINC, SETI, AND BERKELEY for their work and talents.!!!! Without them, we could never participate in such a wonderful project. I really love the project as a whole and hope it continues long into the future....until we find whatever we are meant to find.......... :-) |
