| Hey, this is Danis (15/m/ca). I work in an insurance agency as a gopher (go for this, go for that) doing all kinds of random work. I can honestly say that I am not interested in anything but cars, hot chics, and computers- a perfect SETI combo. Cars help me get to the computer running SETI really fast, should anyting go wrong. Chics...- what if alien chics are really hot? Computers- CPUs, chipsets, motherboards, memory, fans, and other useful hardware unite all over the world to support the SETI community!....... | Using SETI helps me fulfil my curiosity. It helps me realize that I am actually contributing to the search of the unknown, yet-to-be explored areas of the universe.I have always wondered about the existance of other life forms. Since there are so many stars out there, there is an infinite possibility of the existance of a world, either similar to ours, or possessing life forms, not even resembling anything created by our imagination. Who knows, an alien might look like a cloud of smoke... SETI is a great program that lets us go beyond everyday science. |
