Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
Yes I do believe that ETI exists and I believe that we will discover it within the next 25 years. There are always dangers in exploration but I believe that the benifits will out weigh the disadvantages.
Yes we should transmit a beacon, perhaps the reason we havent detected an alian transmision yet is because like us they are waiting to receive one too.
We should send an easy to understand message perhaps a simple mathamaticle message like the primary numbers.
I run SETI@home because I believe that finding ETI would bring the people of the world closer.
The project is worthwhile.
I feel that SETI@home needs to utalise more telescopes at various points around the world.
