Personal background |
I am fortunate enough to work out of my house for a large corportion. I run two Setis, one on a Windows XP AMD 2000 and a Windows 2000 server AMD XP 1700. The server is on 24 hours a day.
When I am not viewing the monitor I work around the house various projects, spend time with my girlfriend, trips, outings. Enjog fresh and saltwater fishing, a thrill for me this summer was landing a 65lb Tarpon in the Keys.
Will put my website back up when I have time.
In the interim, keep chewing away at the SETI blocks! |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
There has to be other life in the universe. The odds of us contacting them is slim in comparison the the size of space which is incalculable. At least I can't imagine how big it is!
Yes, transmitting a beacon shows to some kind of degree our intelligence level and that we do want to be contacted.
I was a user before and have always wondered what it would be like to find a valid contact. Will it happen in our lifetime, who knows. |
