Hi! I'm a hobby-astronomer from berlin! My interest in astronmy rose in the teen-age when my neighbour got a tchibo-telescope (as we say in germany)! We observed a few near-sky objects and that was so facinating...to pull them down to you! I was deeply impressed and ordered my parents to donate me such a thing, too! My next birthday should be the day of the days! Proudly I recognized a fitting present in size and weight among several other (in that moment NOT important) presents. Since this day I have been observing the sky at regular intervals. Mostly planets and nebulas! Ah and comets, of course!
Well, I hope you became acquainted with me a little...
See you in SETI@HOME!
best regards

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm running SETI@home because THERE IS extraterrestrial life somewhere outside and if SETI does not search for it...nobody else does! The support running my few machines is the minimum effort I can do!
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
