| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| While I think that extraterrestrial life exists, I seriously doubt that an intelligent species is close enough for us to contact or even be aware of. Even if an intelligent species is close, they may be so alien that we cannont detect them or communicate with them. At any rate, I use SETI becuase I like to watch my numbers go up. And who knows, maybe one day I'll be proven wrong. |
