Being a 28-year old breathing carbon unit from switzerland, I started to contribute to the SETI calculations back in 1999. Because they ARE there.
My interests besides SETI is Macintosh Computers, Astronomy and basically scientific stuff at all. I spend my Monday-to-Friday time in my own company doing wholesales and webdesign.
Althought most of my machines are not top of the line, all in all there are 5-7 computers working during idel time.
But heh, I turn them off in the night, because I dont want the global energy consumption to raise only because of SETI ... |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I primarily run SETI at home because I was faszinated by Arecibo a long time. The SETI@home Project basically made it possible for me to combine all my main interests: Aliens, Science and Macintosh's.
We could send a beacon out - again, or so... - but since the old one where Sagan had his fingers on was kinda strange if not false, then we better dont send a beacon than send another inaccurate one.
Oh, and please dont let GW Bush sign it or they will drop a bomb :)
