Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.) yes, definitely.

2.) yes, sending some information would be very helpful;
But i don't think that we discover others (or will be
discovered by others) in the next xy years...

I think we actually do not know exactly how the whole
univers work together; yes, we discovered some
Neutrinos and are very shure to understand
what we are discovering.

But: what if we are only a experiment
(like THE MATIX) ??
or what if our physics rules does not apply outside
the milkyway or outside of that what we think is the
birth of our univers....

So, i think that there are a lots of questions to be
answered, before we are able to understand
HOW "others" exist.

And what if they are already beneath us ?

...

The ALIEN on the picture is only one of my cats;
so please beware of real ALIENS :-)
