I was born and raised in Alaska, but now live in Delaware. I'm 24 years old, and work at a newspaper. I like kayaking, playing pool and playing Diablo II on battle.net.
I love walking on the beach, as i live about a block away from it...

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think it's an awful waste of space if God didn't make life on other planets, the real question is, will we ever find signs of intelligent life? With an infinite amount of space to cover, how will we ever know?
At least with SETI@home we're giving it a shot.
I think it's kewl that i can help participate in the search for life out there in the unkown. As long as SETI@home is alive and kicking, i'll be using my computers to do my share.
Should we trasmit a beacon? I say that depends on the cost, if it's within a reasonable amount, then sure why not, you never know who might catch the beacon. Let's just hope it's not a highly advanced race looking to anhiliate other life.... hehehhehehe...
