Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that extraterrestrial life exist. And not sure if we are not opening pandoras box by investigating this. But we have to be optimistic. We are just checking for life for the moment.
I don't think it would make any sense to transmit a beacon, as it would take too much time to reach anyone. We need a much more advanced equipment before we should try it.
Why I run SETI? It's a very intteressting project. And I of course would like to be a part of this grand project.
