| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

SETI@home is a great initiative.
Of course extra-terrestrial life exists. It's naive to believe that in an infinite universe, no life other than our own exists. No matter how low the odds of a planet being life-sustaining, in a universe without a positional end, there must be life outside our own planet.
I run SETI@home because I believe in extra-terrestrial life, and because I spent far too much money on my computer to have it do nothing useful 95% of the time. :P
