I'm an avid amateur astronomer by night and a software developer by day. I like all things science and never stop learning new things. The great astronomer Carl Sagan probably had the greatest influence on me as to getting intersted in SETI.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I want to be the one whose computer discovers proof that we're not alone in this universe. I would be consider it a great contribution to science and all mankind. Just think of how we'll change how we look at the night sky.
