| I'm 38 years old and live in New Jersey in the US. I'm the owner of a company that caters to historic reenactors, museums, theatre and costume companies. My hobbies include learning about everything and anything that catches my fancy, raising my daughter to be the best human being possible, computers and programming, and renaissance fairs. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I certainly hope there is extraterrestrial life. I like the movie Contact because of one of the last lines where Jodi Foster's character tells a young child that it's an awful waste of space if we're the only living beings. My belief is that when we are ready to discover it, we will. So basically, I have no clue as to how many years until we make the discovery, only that it will happen at the best time for it to happen. I run SETI@home because I think it's a worthwhile way for my computer to be used to help reach a goal. Allowing anyone that wants to download the software, to be a part of something so huge is terrific. |
