Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do think that there is life beyond Earth, but I doubt we will ever find it. The universe is just too big for that. There are all kinds of possible dangers in contact with some other civilization but hiding is not useful and besides it's too late to stop all those episodes of Gilligan's Island that are already on their way.
