I am from Huntsville, AL where I working on my Master's degree in Computer Science. I am a semi-professional bowler (I make money bowling as an amateur) and travel to tournaments on average 2 weekends each month. I also like the Where's George website and I enter almost every bill I get to see where it may go.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I don't think that extraterrestrial life exists, but I do think that the research could lead to other technological advancements. I leave my computer on almost all the time, so why not let it be used for something productive?
