| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| When asked why the library should run SETI@Home, I answer "Why not?" These computers have 1,000 times the processing power that computers five years ago had, yet they are used only for trivial tasks such as web browsing and word processing. Instead of wasting processor power, why not use it for something useful, such as SETI@Home. |
