Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do you run SETI@home?
I run it because I like contributing to a VERY worth while cause. seti@home is simply awesome...especially considering its achievements in terms of computing power. It's worth while because I think a lot of us out there would like to find conclusive results regarding intelligent alien life form. It's only a matter of time.

aThoughts about ETI
I'm believer for sure the ET life does indeed exist elsewhere in this universe. My simple argument to the non-believers is this: we are here...why couldn't there be physical life somewhere else. If you actually think about that, you'll come to realize that we are most likely NOT alone. : ) Again, it's only a matter of time. Yes, when contact is made...life as we know it will most likely change. Whether it will be for better or for worse...I cannot predict. That largely depends on the reaction of the mass public. Although, I get the feeling that an extremely large percentage of earth's population is somewhat comfortable with the idea of intelligent alien life. But, it's one thing to merely think about it...and another to experience it first hand.a
