Hi everyone!
I come from Taiwan and now study in Taipei, the metropolis and a big city
of northern Taiwan. My birthplace, on the contrary, is located at southern
Taiwan, another big city with my favorite harbor and hills.
I'm a 6th-grade Medical students of National Taiwan University, but last
semester (autumn, year 2001), I decided to take some courses in Physics
Department (now they are famous for something like B-meson CP asymmetry)
and had to postpone my graduation for one year, that is, I'm supposed to
graduate in summer, year 2004. About the application to what division in
Medicine for my career, I chooseto leave that out now. ;-)

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think, for anyone who is fond of the movie "Contact", he or she is likely
interested in the ORIGINAL, FAMOUS plan, briefly named "SETI." Although we
still don't have proofs for or against the existence of allien lifeforms or
even civilizations, I am personally inclined to believing there is, and I
want to contribute myself for some possible evidence that proves what I
expect. |
