Personal background

I am an art major in the South-East region of the United States. I love to work in mixed media and Da Da remains one of my favorite art movements. I am as fascinated by ancient civilizations (especially the Minoan civilization upon Crete) as I am by the possibility of extraterrestrial intelligence. I have three devoted, stumpy-tailed canines living with me.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because I feel it is important for all people to participate in the search for the truth. My hope is that humans, as a result of the search, could become familiar with more evolved lifeforms. Beings that succeed without resorting to building patriarchial societies or any kind of society which ultimately depends on rationalization rather than reason. I think the world would benefit a great deal by replacing complacency with curiousity. We should never stop questioning.
