With so much space
wouldn't it be
such a lonely place?
I run SETI@home because finding some other form of life out in the universe is an extremely exciting prospect.
Back in the 60's when it was a matter of national pride to advance space exploration technology, monumental achievements were made every year when Congress deemed it important. Now the NASA money goes to Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics for fighters and tanks. It's now up to exploratory minded people to carry on the work. |
