Yes, I believe they do exist. I guess the question should be the other way around. When and how extraterrestrial life will choose to reveal themselves to us. Don't know about the benefits and dangers. Human beings are "good and evil". Usually, what we don't know or compreehend we fear and what we fear we try to destroy.
Yes, we should, with basic information such as mathematics and cultural information.
I run SETI@home because I find it quite interesting and fun. It's the largest enterprise made by mankind composing of different people from different points of the globe, meanwhile, ignoring racial and ethnical backgrounds. |
