Personal background
Just another individual on this spec of dust in the universe trying to make a difference.

Majored in Computer Science at college, then went on to get an MBA in Marketing and Finance and finally rounded it off with a Masters from Carnegie Mellon in Software Engineering and Information Technology.

I have always been interested in this world and the others outside ours; an interest that was created partly by watching space and NASA related programs hosted by Carl Sagan. As I grew older although most interests of my childhood slowly faded away, this one interest in the space seemed to grow and get more focused. In fact it was part of the reason why I opted to get into voluntary training for the Air Force for three years in college - besides my regular college curriculum.

I created one group for my company and one for The City. All the efforts for the search of ET life of both these groups are dedicated to those that lost theirs recently on the 11th of September 2001 and all those that might lose theirs in the on-going effort to eradicate those that are against life on this planet.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
There is ET life, maybe not in the form and not at the same level of intelligence as us, but definitely alive in some way.

We need to search, know and understand how all this around us was created and why we are here and not anywhere else.

Besides looking for ET life, we need to start moving beyond this planet. If it is not out there then we need to send some from here - cause we sure have enough of it here. Mars here we come !!!

We got to the Moon before I got on this planet; I hope to be around when we get to the Red Planet.

This SETI program is a god (NASA/UC @ Berkeley) sent for all those who are too involved with their regular jobs, but would love to make a contribution to the effort. I am glad that there are some (more than 3.5 Million) that do believe in this effort and I am proud to be a part.

Anyone interested in joining my New York Group are most welcome to do so, feel free to email me to share your views.
