I'm from Kent in the United Kingdom, I'm 36 And i'm a Medical Electronics Engineer, my hobbies range from pc's thro electronics (pic's) to DIY & consuming beer. Including of course always upgrading my hardware to eek out faster SETI results - currently 1 workunit per 2 1/2 to 3 Hours.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think we would be too arrogant to think that we are the only planet with life (can't claim that the Human species always acts intelligently though)
I think we would be more of a threat to any alien's than they to ourselves given our arrogance.
I Belive that the proof of anything outside our tiny planet would help in stabalizing our fragile intercontinental relationships and that the human race would grow out of it's petty arguments over borders
