I joined in June of 1999 to support the idea of Distributed computing. I have always been a sci-fi fan and hope something good comes from the Seti@home mission!

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
There is not any proof known to date of other living beings outside of our planet but I find it hard to believe that we are alone in such an endless amount of space. If there is other life outside of our planet and they have technology as advanced as we do it's hard to say if they would want to visit us. We can only hope that one day our people stop killing each other and work together to accomplish a goal similar to the millions of people who are working together to make Seti@Home possible.
