Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Extraterrestrial live does exsist and the only way we are ever going to find it is to just keep on pluging away. The benifits of discovering life outside our solar system could be amazing as for the dangers its intersting to look at our own history and see what happens whenever a more technologically developed group of people comes acroos a less developed civilization. Even so I think we should always keep looking and as for sending a beacon that is a very difficult question a message would have to be something constant in the universe wich makes the whole situation incredable complicated we can't use language because aliens probably don't speak english and as for numbers they may not even use the same base 10 system we do.
