Personal background
Texas born and bred, 4 children, a lovely wife. 49 yrs old, Science Teacher - 18 yrs., I love to do woodworking, hunting and fishing. Somewhat outgoing, and love to make people laugh. Disgruntled with most legislatures due to lobbyists and personal gain. Education for all is a must, I believe in the Science Standards and how they can help students learn.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I know I may sound crazy, but I do think we may have been visited. Early drawings and descriptions show aliens as being thin and lanky, which could be accounted as bone-loss density due to lack of gravity. Our own astronauts experience this for short periods and if extended can cause problems in re-entry.

I think this is a very worth-while project that if a signal were found it would be published to the world, even though that civilization may be well extinct by now.

I would like my old work units to also count with the new ones with BOINC.
