Hi my name is Arjen Muit.
I am a Seti participant for almost 2 years now.
I came in contact with seti through my brother in law.
I was immediatly drawn to the project and started on a voyage wich i acn say now controls a big part of my life.
I started out with 1 pc a P3 550 mhz.
At the moment i am crunching on a P3 650 at home and my laptop from work a P3 1 Gig.
The P3 550 just recently died on me after one and a half year of steady crunching.
In about 2 months i will replace the P3 550 with an P4 1,8 Ghz
My first goal when i started was to get the magic 1000 wu's.
Now that i have made taht recently i wanna get more ande more.... i know it is addictive.
I have Joined Seti@Netherlands wich is a great club, currently we are nr4 in the world and ever growing.
Well got to go to work now.

Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?If so, when and how will humans discover it? What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?
Yes extraterrestrial life exists, but if we will ever find them......
I cant answer that i think they will or already have found us first.
Is there a danger, hmmm we make war and suffering amongst our selves so what could possible aliens make it worse.

Yes i think we should launch a beacon.
It does not hurt to send and receive.
