I have had a long fascination with computers. I fondly remember the days of the old Tandy and Commodore 64 computers. Ah, the good old days. The number of hours spent on a computer since the 1980s is a scary thought. My formal education in computers began back in 1989 and since then my knowledge has grown. In 1994 I completed my degree in Computer Information Systems at Lexington Community College. After a few years in the workforce I decided to go back to school so I enrolled at the University of Kentucky where I studied Psychology while at the same time working in the computer field. My passion however is photography. I love photography. In 2004 I started Mike Poynter Photography. I specialize in weddings, events, portraits, senior photos and glamour shots.
