| I'm a 56 year old field service tech. Currently I install and repair Hewlett Packard and Sun Microsystems products. I play with computers, radio, video, robotics ( don't fly airplanes any more ). I am running SAH on several of my servers at work and at home, even an old Sparc Ultra 5 |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| With many others, I believe it is a very large universe to be alone in. As to contact, I'm not sure it hasn't already happened. ( no I don't see little green men). I have seen USAF jets scramble to chase swamp gas. I believe we should have open minds about the unexplained and make every attempt to detect and communicate other life forms. I run the SETI clients because I hate to see wasted resources and am happy to put idle CPU's to work. |
