| Well, i'm 23, and i'm from Australia. I'm a student, going to university, and am studying IT. I am mostly into computers, cars, and travelling, and going out and having a good time. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I believe that extra terrestrial life exists. I'm not sure when and how humans will discover it, but i wouldn't be surprised if it was sometime within the next 100 years. The main reasons I run SETI@home are:
a) It's a good use for all those extra little processor cycles that are going unused
b) I feel I am doing something good for the planet by running SETI@home
c) It would be very cool if my computer found extra terrestrial life and I became famous. ;)
d) I like to use SETI@home as a benchmark, to see the speed of a computer compared to others. |
