Just another "Old Fart". I have been a police officer for 30 yrs. and still enjoy my job. Like i like to tell the "ladies" "It's not the years,....It's the Mileage"! I may be a senior citizan by some standards, but I still feel like a kid [and act like it sometimes too!]!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do I believe that extraterrestrial life exists? How can anyone have an ego so big as to think that we are the only life in the universe after looking skyward at the billions and billions of stars in the heavens? Yes I believe that we are not alone. No I don't think it will end like a "Star Trek" movie. It could go like an "Independance Day movie. But I hold out hope that anyone able to travel the stars will have traveled beyound conquest and war.
I run SETI because I would love to travel into space and since that is becoming farther and farther from a possiblity for me, I still want to do wantever I can.
