I’m a software developer - Mmmmmmmm, software. Born in 1959, but not feeling a day over 21, I have noticed it does seem to hurt a bit more when I wipe out on my mountain bike.
Two big passions in my life are knowledge and music. I have been in school
full- or part-time since 1984 and have studied Music, Kinesiology, Mathematics, Physics, Astronomy,
Chaos, Computing, Philosophy, Psychology, Cognitive Science and Artificial
Intelligence. Music is a great way to express yourself emotionally, intellectually and physically. I have been playing jazz, Latin and rock music professionally since 1985.
When not programming or playing, I canoe and cook. When not doing those things, I like to watch reruns of The Three Stooges, Blackadder and the Simpsons - occasionally at the same time. I suspect my tombstone may read "When I wasn’t living my life, I was reliving Homer’s." Any other residual time is actively devoted to the pursuit of serious REM. |
