Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
i dont know if extraterrestrial life exists but if it does i'd like to help find it. I am not sure if humans should send mesages for others to find, we seem to have enough trouble with our local neighbours. If there is ET life the benefits could include leaps in our technology, the danger is they might not like us. Seti@home is very interesting and not just a screen saver. The project is a great idea to use spare computer power to do analysis that might not be done otherwise while allowing people like me around the world to participate. It would be good to have a background with a different screensaver or your choice of 'seti@home skins'.
