| I was a Human Resources Manager at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, when I first learned of SETI. The headquarters is located in Rome, Italy, which is where I lived for almost 30 years. I'm now retired and living in Pittsboro, North Carolina. I've always had an interest in space exploration, since discovering science fiction at an early age. |

| I've been a member of the Planetary Society for some time and that's how I learned about SETI@home project. I was fascinated by the concept, when I first heard about it and could hardly wait to join up. I'm also a long-time user of Macintosh computers (of which I now have three in current use) and think this is a great way to use their idle time. |
