Profile: Greg Flood

Personal background
I was a Human Resources Manager at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, when I first learned of SETI. The headquarters is located in Rome, Italy, which is where I lived for almost 30 years. I'm now retired and living in Pittsboro, North Carolina. I've always had an interest in space exploration, since discovering science fiction at an early age.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I've been a member of the Planetary Society for some time and that's how I learned about SETI@home project. I was fascinated by the concept, when I first heard about it and could hardly wait to join up. I'm also a long-time user of Macintosh computers (of which I now have three in current use) and think this is a great way to use their idle time.
