Personal background
I am curently residing in Lincoln UK. it is a farming city/community and the sky is clearly visible from where i live. When i look at the sky at night i always think of how there MUST be life in literally millions of places in space. I am only 17 years old and i currently doing a course at lincoln university title product design. This basically involves designing useful items for the future. At the moment i am designing a mobilephones case whice keeps the battery charged all day long with the use of knetik/wind up energy. I downloaded the home client to become part of the search and am starting to understand most of it! My hobbies are space, i skateboard everyday and i play the drum kit too.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that extra terrestrial life exists in the universe because of the sheer size of it. I think realistically that humans will discover it within 10 years, possibly with the help os seti fans with seti home client. The possible benefits of such a discovey would be astronomical, new cultures, races, ways of life and possible new means of space communication and travel would become a reality.

Humans should transmit a beacon for others to find because any other intelligent lifeforms would prbably be searching too. We should send information about our planet, technology, and a way of depicting peace.

I run SETI @ home in order to become part of the project, i like the project because it is interesting and if enough people join in then the changes of finding life will grow.

I suggest a better help file explaining how the software works in greater detail.
