Born and raised in New Jersey. Made it out of there before Y2K, winding up in Hawaii. I live in Hilo and work on Mauna Kea.
Interests
I spent 15 years in IT before getting into astronomy.

Lately, just running on a laptop.
Why'd I Join
Way back when, someone I know got a job involving SETI. I don't even remember who it was, any more. |

| August 29-30 2009, I went to SSL, saw the SETI lab, saw the SETI server, showed Dan Werthimer SETI@home running on my laptop (leeching off the SSL WLAN!), and saw Dan give a talk about SETI. It was awesome. :) |
